Advice for more efficient energy consumption
- The best location to place a radiator is under the window, however, furniture and curtains must not be placed in front of them because they prevent circling of heat.
- At the beginning of the heating season the radiators have to be well bled; namely, the air inside them reduces the release of heat by 15%. Noisy flowing and bubbling of water is also the result of air pockets in the radiator.
- In designing, the 3-point programme automatics has to be taken into consideration because it enables proper operation of the entire hot-water system and saves 15% of energy.
- Less heat loss can be achieved by good wall isolation and regular maintenance of the heating system.
